Hi my name is Laura,
I am the Office Manager for Dr's Yoonjung and Najung Kim. I have been with Dr. Yoon and Dr. Kim since March 2008. My responsiblity as the Office Manager, is to help our patients utilize their dental benefits to the maximum, and if there is anything I can do to help you with your dental insurance please let me know.
I have been in the medical field since 1985 where I started out as the secretary at North Maine Fire Department. After getting the "bug" and wanting more, I went back to school and earned my certifications for E.M.T., Medical Assisting, CNA, Phlebotomy and EKG's. I have worked in all area's of the spectrum including, Medfirst, Sears Family Dental, LifeSource, The Optimal Wellness Center and in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Department at St. Alexius Medical Center.
My interests outside of work include spending time with my friends and family. I come from a multi-generation military family who have served in the Navy and Air Force, and currently I have 2 nieces who are serving in the US Marine Corp. During the summer, I also like to attend as many of the summer festivals as possible. You can usually find me testing my luck in the bingo tent or listening to the local bands.

I’m glad you are visiting our page and hope to see you soon. I have worked for six years in the dental field, and met a great doctor that showed me my path to this career. I recently received my certification in Coronal Polishing & Fluoride. My responsibilities are to assist Dr's Yoonjung and Najung Kim, x-rays, sealants, prophys and fluoride treatments. I love meeting new people daily, and my goal is to communicate with our patients to provide the best care possible. I am fluent in both the English and Spanish languages. I am honored to be able to work with these two wonderful dentists.
I love spending time with my family and husband (Jorge). I have four wonderful brothers and one sister. I love going shopping and collecting purses.

Hi! my name is Barbie Santamaria, I have been working at Glenbrook Family Dental for almost a year. I am a Dental Assistant for Dr. Najung Kim and Dr. Yoonjung Kim I assist them with all their dental procedures. My leisure time is spent with my family, my four puppies and my friends. Most of my time is spent at work, I started out as a receptionist /assistant partime and now I am on board fulltime. I have been certified in pit and fissure seallants coronial polishing and . I love working with the patients and assisiting in their every need. I hope that I can do the same for you here at Glenbrook Family Dental. My future holds a career in dentistry, I am eagerly awaiting the chance to further my education and become a member of the dental community. In the meantime, I love my job and the experience it has given me, and the people whom I work with! I am in a position where I am getting a diverse look at how a sucessful dental office operates while contributing everything I can to help our team keep Chicago smiling. My priority is to make you feel at ease in order to ensure a pleasant visit to our office.
